Alder Mini is the name in the workspace. Here is the cloud route we are evaluating and what we will verify before access opens.

Alder Mini

Proposed upstream: openai/gpt-oss-120b through the Groq API. Alder would hold its own key on a secured server and check your Alder account allowance. You would not need a Groq account or a separate model app.

This route is not live in Alder yet. Groq's published free organization allowance is finite, and a longer coding task makes several model calls. The planned two-week creator offer will have clear account and shared service limits. We will publish the actual allowance after testing a complete Studio build loop.

Groq says inference inputs and outputs are not retained by default, with limited reliability and abuse exceptions. We will verify our account's data setting before inviting creators. Creator builds do not route through Claude Code or Antigravity CLI.

We will update this page with the model that actually powers Alder Mini, its request and token limits, and the results of a signed-in plan, approved edit, playtest and restore run. The desktop Usage & limits page will show the allowance enforced for your account.

We evaluated OpenCode's promotional free models, but their published terms and temporary availability do not establish a shared Alder launch route. The development computer's local model is not part of the creator offer.
